In Remembrance

Robert Rittwage

March 23, 1945 – July 7, 2012

Served 27 years for the Beausejour Brokenhead Fire Department

Hello cheerful was a common greeting from a man who showed so much passion and integrity in everything he does. He was our friend and one of our leaders that would stand with us when the need arise. Bob has dedicated 27 years to his community, sacrificing the precious time with his own family, to contribute to the men and women in uniform today (his second family)

He earned his way up through the ranks and held the position of Deputy Chief, just recently stepping down to Captain so he could pay forward his good deeds to the up and coming generation

As bad as some things could get, Bob had the ability to always bring out positive re-enforcement, and make you look at things in a different light. This made you feel great about yourself. He was the comical relief that would put everyone at ease in times of need; his witty personality broke out the smiles and laughter at just the right time.

There has been many that came before us, and there will be many more to follow, but there will be few that can change the outlook on life, as you have been able to do so well. You will be in our hearts forever, and your spirit will be with us, as we are called into duty to serve the ones that need our help.

Today we honor you and your family Anita, Steffanie and Raymond with the respect that you had honored all of us. He had said if you’re going to do something then you might as well try and do it right.
